I set up Beeston Nursery to provide great childcare in my hometown of Beeston. I am passionate about giving children the best possible start in life. I have a wonderful, experienced and qualified team.
I am very proud of our activities in the community and I love helping people. I now train other nursery owners and managers to help them develop their leadership skills so their nurseries can be great too.
I love being creative and crocheting. You’ll find lots of examples of my work around the nursery.




Anthony Carroll

Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Genetics and Microbiology. PGCE in Secondary. PG Cert in Public Services Management .

I really enjoy working with Roopam in our family business. I have worked as a teacher and a manager so it is great to be able to combine the two at Beeston nursery and BOOSC. 

 We have a daughter Ellie who used to come to the nursery with us and now sometimes comes to BOOSC. I enjoy reading, supporting Manchester City, swimming and cycling.

Lisa Onion
Office Manager
Qualifications: BSc (Hons) International Business 2i
I have 2 daughters Gracie and Phoebe that keep me very busy. Before children I travelled and lived in Paris, Cairo and Manila as a nanny before I went to Uni.
I enjoy yoga and try to practice at home. I also run twice a week since I completed the couch to 5k programme.
I enjoy going out for dinner with friends and take turns in hosting dinner parties with 3 friends, our own Come Dine with Me!
I have a Norfolk terrier called Pippa, she brings so much happiness to our home.

I love working as part of a team and am passionate about working with children.
At the weekend I rehearse with the Nottingham Symphonic Winds Orchestra playing the clarinet. 

Over the 30 years since starting we have raised thousands of pounds for many charities.

I love spending time with my family and socialising with friends.

I live with my husband and I have a son and a daughter.

I am very creative and I make a wide variety of crafts. I love to share my passion for making things with the children to enhance their learning and development.

I helped make the Chanel 4 documentary - Old People’s home for 4 year olds. It was a real privilege to take part in the social experiment. If you look carefully you might see me in some of the scenes.

I’m a mum of 2 wonderful boys and as a family we enjoy trips to the parks, den making, climbing trees and getting the most out of nature.
I’m always happy and smiling and my daily aim is to make others smile and fell happy to.
I am a very friendly person and families are important to me.
I like to keep fit, doing clubbersize and eating my 5 a day.

I always knew that I would work with children. I love seeing them grow with the knowledge that I passed on to them through play. 

Some of my hobbies include photography, reading and music. I love to sing and it brings a great smile to the children’s faces.

I am originally from Poland here in the UK I live with my partner.

I live with my family, I have 4 siblings and I like to spend time with my precious nephews and nieces. 

I have a disabled niece who is 15 years old who I care for alongside my Mum. I celebrate Eid and fast in the holy month of Ramadaan.

On weekends I like to socialise with family and friends going out for food, the cinema and days out. There is always time for Asian dramas and soaps!

I am married to Dave and have 3 beautiful children and 2 beautiful grand children.

I enjoy working with children and have been doing this since I left school. I am passionate about my job and I find it very rewarding.

At weekends I love spending time with my family and friends socialising. We love going on camping holidays having fun setting up the tent and going on bike rides.

I’m originally from Lincolnshire, until I came to Beeston, a wonderful town that I am always finding new places to visit and lots to do.

I am passionate about meaningful and engaging activities for a wide range of ages. I love the variety of resources and space that we can offer. Working with children is one of the most rewarding jobs out there, and I love to see children growing up.

I volunteer every week at a local Rainbows, I love planning activities for the girls and am looking to complete a leadership course.

I love baking and going to the gym, and a fun fact know about me is that I used to do a lot of dancing.

Working with children and supporting their families is the most rewarding job. I love elping children achieve their full potential in a happy, safe exciting environment is of upmost importance to me. 

I have 2 boys which are my world! We love the outdoors and family time, we make an amazing den.

I am a creative person, loving to draw and create.

We have a miniature Schnauzer, a border terrier, a cockatiel and a rabbit, we love animals.

I am married to Jeff and I have a daughter called Rebecca. I moved to Beeston Rylands 23 years ago from Bridlington. I have a cat called Toffee and a rabbit called Percy.

 I go to my caravan in Mablethorpe most weekends to spend time with my family.
I like to powerwalk and have signed up for a 13 mile charity walk.

 Before joining Beeston Nursery I used to have my own photography and filmmaking business. I am now trainee (apprentice) Early Years Practitioner.

 I enjoy my job, I get to play with children all day! I like to be a positive role model. 

When I'm not at work I enjoy photography, cinema, running - Park run every Saturday morning socialising and taking part in community events around Beeston.
